We warmly welcome you in your holiday flat of our vacation rental service of Travemünde! Here you can book your apartment of temporary living.

Nice family house with big garden with close distance to the green beach of Travemünde.

On the ground floor is the bathroom with shower and WC, the new equipped kitchen with baking oven, and ceramic glass cooktop (4 hot plates), refrigerator, dishwasher, and high class equipped interior (dishes, glasses and kitchen utils), the living room with a big sofa, armchair, stool, table, great sized flatscreen, Hifi/ stereo system, with directly entrance to the first terrace with awning and outdoor furnitures, next is an open dining area with a big dining table, 5 chairs (plus child's highchair) and a service hatch to the kitchen and also on the ground floor is the bedroom with double bed (two mattresses), big size cupboard, writing desk, chair and free WIFI (upon request).
On the first floor: guest toilet, an extra large bedroom with double bed (1,80 x 2,00m, two mattresses with footboard), cupboard, table, a bedroom with a single bed, cupboard and stool, children's room with fold-out sofa bed (1,40 x2,00m) and travel baby bed. In the basement is a washing machine, and dryer, which can be used with no charge. From the basement you can reach directly the 2nd terrace in the inner yard. Parking places for up to two cars available on the property.The beach and the Strandpromenade are only 250m far away. All rooms have wood floor, only the living room is carpeted.

Wi-Fi is available (the access code is in the welcome folder, which is in the flat). . The WIFI connection is unfortunately not working very well which may be due to the location of the house. This will not be a reason of complaint.
Bicycles can be parked on the property.
Visitor's tax:
The visitor's tax is not included in your booking and need to be paid separately.

15. 5.-14. 9. € 3.- p.p./day

Cancellation policy:
If you need to cancel your booking after the payment of your deposit of 10% of your total booking, the Lübeck and Travemünde Marketing GmbH will charge you € 29.00 handling fee and will refund the remaining sum of your deposit payment. For cancellations made less than 60 days before the arrival date: A penalty equal to 100% of total stay will be applied unless the accommodation is re-let. We recommend a travel cancellation insurance, which you can get in all travel agencies within 10 days of your booking.

We would like to inform you that, during the summertime, the beach will be cleaned up mechanically and there might be disturbance by noise every early morning. Also there might be seaweed coming from the sea, which give a very strong odor. For this reason we do not give a price rebate and there is no right to compensation.

Also we need to inform you that - especially during the weekends - open air festivals are taken place and it can be noisy at this time, particular along the sea promenade. Especially during the Travemünder Woche - the 2nd biggest sail event in the world - which is taken place at the end of July. Please be so kind and inform yourself for exact dates. Thank you!

    “Eine echte Empfehlung Positiv: Die ruhige und dennoch zentrale Lage Negativ: Es war alles in Ordnung. Das Wetter könnte noch drei Grad wärmer sein. Soll heißen, es stimmte wirklich alles.”

    “Positiv: Die Lage und Einrichtung des Hauses war gut. Der Weg zum Strand war mit 200m genau. Negativ: Das Haus war nicht sauber. Ich musste erst mit dem Staubsauger den Boden saugen. Der Wischmopp war so dreckig, dass ich ihn erst in einer Lauge einweichen musste, damit wir das Bad trocken wischen konnten. Der Zwischenboden am Wohnzimmertisch war so staubig, dass man Zeichen darauf malen konnte. Ich habe ihn mit einem Tuch gesäubert. Der Boden im Obergeschoss ist so laut, dass beim Gehen die unteren Gäste im Schlafzimmer gestört werden. Die Gefrierfachtür im Kühlschrank war schon 2 Monate defekt. Es konnten keine Speisen eingefroren werden.
    Es ist schade, dass der Besitzer bei so einem schönen Haus nicht für Ordnung sorgt. Freizeit: Lübeck,
    Timmendorfer Strand”

    vielen Dank für Ihre Bewertung.

    Es tut uns natürlich sehr leid, dass Sie nicht zufrieden gewesen sind. Wir weisen in unserem Willkommensbrief an die Gäste immer daraufhin sich umgehend während Ihres Aufenthaltes bei uns zu melden, wenn etwas zu reklamieren ist , damit wir Abhilfe schaffen können. Wegen der Unsauberkeit hätten wir gerne auch die Reinigungskraft vorbeigeschickt, um Ihren Wünschen entsprechend nochmals zu reinigen. Zu der Beschaffenheit des Hauses können wir leider nichts sagen. Wir wissen, dass der Bodenbelag Holzfußboden ist und diese Information auch in der Beschreibung zu finden ist und ein Holzfußboden bekanntlich auch mal Geräusche von sich gibt, also knarren kann. Diese Mängel und die weiteren sind natürlich nicht schön und ärgerlich doch es wäre schön gewesen , wenn Sie sich persönlich oder per Telefon bei uns gemeldet hätte, dann wäre der Aufenthalt im Haus Engelstein vielleicht doch noch zu einem Schönen geworden.

    “Ist zwar ein altes Haus,aber sehr gepflegt und für den Urlaub hervorragend geeignet. Positiv: Ruhige Lage,großer,gepflegter Garten mit Obstbäumen sowie die geschützte überdachte Terrasse fand unsere Begeisterung. Negativ: Internet ist zu langsam,da kann aber der Vermieter nichts zu. Umgebung: Supermarket, restaurant, market - Alles liegt im Umkreis von 1,5 km Restaurant: Fischkombüse - einmal in der Flaniermeile und im Fischereihafen.Hier sind es riesige Portionen zu einem sehr guten Preis und super schmackhaft.”
