This lovely, renovated cottage is just 500 metres away from the beautiful sandy beach, Diernæs. The bright and well-furnished house has a modern kitchen and a bathroom with underfloor heating. A wood-fired stove is provided for heating the entire house. The third largest lake of South Jutland (Südjütland), the Slivsø, is a 164 hectares lake located near the beach Diernæs. The lake has 180 species of birds including the Kingfisher and eagles. The lake is enriched with fish and is home to many pike, perch and trout. Diernæs beach is a family friendly area with a child-friendly beach and calm water in the Little Belt strait. The nearby ancient town Haderslev is a lovely place, which is dominated by the impressive cathedral of the city. Just stroll through the Haderslev Dampark located in the town centre. Enjoy shopping in the long, hilly pedestrian area in Aabenraa, another attractive town situated in southern Jutland (Südjütland) where you can witness and admire the many interesting house doors. Located further south is the Gråsten Slot, which is the meeting place of the royal family every year. Just continue south and you will reach Sønderborg, which is beautifully situated on the island Als. The city has much to offer, including a lovely harbour front with cafes and restaurants, the Sønderborg Castle and the historic Centre Dybbøl Banke, which is located a little away from the town. From there it is not far to the amusement park Danfoss Universe, which is located on the island Als, where you can experience and enjoy beautiful nature.
