Dagebüll is the perfect location for exploring the surrounding areas: the ferries to the North Sea islands Amrum and Foehr can be reached in a few minutes. From the nearby harbor in Schlüttsiel (8km) you can also reach the small islets Hooge and Langeneß quickly and relaxed by ship. For a day trip to Sylt is Dagebüll ideal because from here, or from neighboring Niebüll (about 12 km), you can conveniently go through in just half an hour by train directly to Westerland.

The many dikes around it offer a perfect spot for cyclists - bicycle rental is conveniently located in the village.
