This fantastic 2-storey holiday house is located in the harbour of Nykøbing Sjælland. The house is well equipped and elegantly furnished. This beautiful house has been conferred with the ’s title ‘Home with heart’ which is awarded only to the most comfortable of the houses. The open plan living and dining area has ample place for the entire family. It leads to one of the two terraces of the house. All the 3 bedrooms in the house have double beds. You can relax and enjoy underwater massage in the jacuzzi bath in the bathroom. A sauna is also available in the same bathroom. You can oversee the harbour from the balcony. The house is environment friendly and CO2-neutral. The unique location of this house and its close proximity to the town invites you to have some beautiful moments and experiences. You can be active on the Odsherred by hiking, cycling on the 27 km Isefjord, playing golf, or through water sports and fishing. Because of the reflection of sunlight, the peninsula surrounded by Isefjord, the Kattegat and the Bay of Sejerø provide a special and intense illuminated look. You cannot find this unique atmosphere anywhere else in Denmark. You can get the feel of a geological park in the glacial headlands of Odsherred and the Hempel Glass Museum is nearby. Along the grave mound street you can find graves and tombs that date back to the stone age and bronze age. There are remains of the historical forest village of Ulkerup in this region which are nearly 300 years old. A replica of the sun chariot found in the moors of Trundholm moses is placed in the Odsherred Museum. You can also take a look at the Lommesten rocks as well as the castle of Naesholm Borg located on a small island in lake Nygård Sø and situated between Hojby and Nykobing Sjaelland. In Odsherred you can also find a nature school, where you learn to catch sea trout, go on butterfly safaris, take expeditions through forest and explore the forest with troll and fox trips. The nature reserve Hovvig is a restored wetland and home for rich bird life. This region offers hiking trails with 3 direction indicators. Your children will be excited to visit the Odsherred Fire Museum. Visit the Sjaelland Adventure Land located nearby, the galleries typical of Odsherred and the Dragsholm Palace built in the 12th century. Havnebyen is the only proper fishing harbour with boats and a small fish smoke house. Even fishermen on recreation can enjoy fishing in this region. You can enjoy shopping and visit the coffee houses in Nykøbing Sjælland. Seal safaris are available in the harbour of Rorvig. You can sail from Rorvig to Hundested and reach Copenhagen by ferry in just an hour.
