This air-conditioned vacation home with private pool and enclosed garden is located in Vaucluse or Valréas, 25 km from Vaison-la-Romaine. The villa is very pleasantly furnished and convinces with a seamless combination of indoor and outdoor living. You will stay in a very quiet neighborhood on the outskirts of the small town of Valréas, within walking distance of all amenities and stores. Valréas is a rural community, but still very lively. It is located in the Drôme Provençale, which has been awarded the French "Station Verte" certification for its tourism sustainability and good environmental awareness. Around Valréas stretch renowned wine-growing areas such as Visan. Worth seeing in Valréas are the Musée du Cartonnage, the twelfth-century Ripert Tower, the Romanesque church of Notre-Dame-de-Nazareth, and many old facades, for example in Grande Rue, Rue de l'Horloge, and Rue de l'Hôtel de Ville. From June 23 to 25, the town celebrates the birth of John the Baptist. Then more than 350 costumed participants parade through the town. And at the beginning of August, the lavender, a symbol of the region, is celebrated. In addition to the black truffle of Tricastin, gourmets can look forward to regional delicacies such as caillettes (minced pork in chard and spinach leaves), tapenade or olive paste, olive oil from Nyons, garlic from the Drôme and the soft cheese Picodon. Accompanied by wine from Rasteau or Gigondas. Nearby, Grignan, La Garde-Adhémar and Saint-Paul-Trois-Châteaux offer excellent restaurants. There are adventure pools in Nyons (14 km), Mirabel-aux-Baronnies (20 km) and Monteux (50 minutes). The countryside around Valréas is ideal for hiking and biking. Discover the castles of Grignan, Suze-la-Rousse and Montélimar, and stroll through the region's many charming mountain villages. Golfers will get their money's worth at the Clansayes and Domaine de la Valdaine complex. The property has an electric gate and access to the vacation property is via a spacious terrace connected to the kitchen and living room. Amateur cooks can look forward to a very well equipped kitchen. A small staircase with a few steps leads to the first three bedrooms and a bathroom. Another small staircase leads to the last bedroom and a small adjoining shower room with sink and toilet. Outside you have a large, partly covered terrace and a summer kitchen with barbecue, plancha, griddle, stove top and dishwasher.
