Welcome to the climatic health resort of Riedenburg, idyllically situated on the Main-Danube Canal in the Jura Mountains. In our beautiful three-castle town you can enjoy relaxing or active stays, depending on your taste. Several well-signposted cycling and hiking trails lead through our beautiful nature with its typical meagre grasslands. Some are leisurely through the valley, some are sporty up and down the slopes.

We are located directly on the Schambachtal-Bahn cycle path, on the Drei-Burgen-Steig trail and on a loop of the Altmühl-Panoramaweg trail.
Our house is quietly located at the foot of the Schlossberg and yet close to the city centre. We built our house in 2022. A modern low-energy house in timber construction sits on top of the classic cellar. We supply our own electricity, weather permitting, and heat with an air-heat pump. Everything is built to the Kfw 40+ standard.

Since we have a wonderful southeast location, all living areas have large, floor-to-ceiling windows.
We have furnished the flats for you in a modern yet cosy way. Everything you need is there: well-equipped kitchenette, bathroom with toilet and shower, bedroom, dining table and a cosy sitting area. In addition, each flat has its own south-facing balcony.

A covered parking space is available for each flat, right next to the house. There you will also find two wall boxes.
You can store your bikes in the house and charge your pedelecs on site.
You can access the flats via a staircase or you can use our lift.

All flats are barrier-free and in the larger flat we have ensured that wheelchair users can also move around easily.

The Rosenburg holiday flat with 59 sqm, incl. partially covered terrace, has two bedrooms, one with a box spring double bed, the second with two single beds. The possible fifth sleeping place is our pull-out sofa bed in the living area. The living area is open plan with a kitchen, dining area for 5 people and a spacious couch. Here you also have a flat-screen TV approx. 100 cm and W-LAN for your entertainment. The high-quality kitchen has an induction hob, dishwasher, oven, fridge, coffee machine, kettle, toaster and egg boiler.
The bathroom has a floor-level shower, washbasin and mirror cabinet as well as towel dryer and WC. Towels and bed linen are included in the rental price, a change of bed linen is available for an extra charge.
The terrace with a view of the Schambach and Altmühl valleys faces south-east and is equipped with comfortable garden furniture for relaxing, enjoying the sun and a cosy evening.

You can park in front of or respectively under the house. You can park your bikes in the house.
Arrival from 4 p.m., departure until 10 a.m., other times by arrangement / prior agreement.
The keys are handed over personally on arrival and departure or in our key safe at the house.
Pets are not allowed in this flat.

You can withdraw from the contract at any time.
The withdrawal must be made in writing.
In the event of withdrawal, you are obliged to compensate us for the losses incurred:
- from the day of booking confirmation by the landlord until the 30th day before the start of the rental period no cancellation costs.
- from the 29th day until the 14th day before the start of the rental period 50% of the total price.
- from the 13th day to the 1st day before the start of the rental period 80% of the total price.
- on the day of arrival 100% of the total price.
- The date of receipt of your cancellation notice counts in each case.
- Amounts already paid will be offset.
- You can provide a substitute person who will take over your contract under the above-mentioned conditions. A written notification is sufficient.
- You will not be charged for any days that the owner is able to let to another person in the case of a cancellation by you (the tenant).
