On the road from Icici to the Ucka mountain you will find the small medieval town of Veprinac, whose city statute dates as far back as the year 1500. Icici offers an amazing view over the two largest Croatians islands, Krk and Cres, that form the entrance to Kvarner Bay.
Icici's main tourist attraction remains its large beach, one of the most beautiful in the region and offering a variety of entertainment. Situated by the village center, it is part sandy beach and part concrete area. The beach is well managed and each year investments are made to further improve it, which is why it is regularly awarded the prestigious "blue flag". The entrance to the beach is free and open for all, and you can hire all that you need for your day out – deck chairs, umbrellas, pedal boats, etc. The beach is ideal for enjoying a variety of sports – beach volleyball, soccer, badminton on the sand, a water polo court in the sea. Children particularly love the beach's large water slide. There are various restaurants to be found on the beach itself, a small supermarket that will satisfy everyone's needs, and free wireless internet access for all (WLAN).
